Service Evaluation

Very often clients need to know and understand whether their services are meeting organisational objectives and patient needs. This also applies to new programmes and projects.

Typically, the issues are around effectiveness and efficiency and variable performance by area, by period and by specialty. This also often requires comparators elsewhere in the country and abroad to learn from and emulate good practice translated into a specific situation.

We have evaluated diverse services on behalf of clients including an evaluation of the implementation of the Mental Capacity Act in a large Local Authority; an evaluation of the delivery and impact of Anti-Social Behaviour services again in a Local Authority; and the evaluation and redesign of mental health services in the light of changing stakeholder expectations.
